A Name Above Every Name!

The Church has not seen as of yet our high calling we have in Christ Jesus. We have been filled with the power of God. God has called us to be His representatives on earth. It says in the Epistles to the Ephesians that the fulness of Christ is His church on earth.

We are the eyes, mouth, feet and hands of Jesus on earth. We carry the light of God and the Kingdom of God on earth. We are His ambassadors. We are to use the Name of Jesus to free those who are being oppressed of the devil.

To use the Name of Jesus requires your faith as well. People want the blessings of Abraham with the faith of Thomas. They want to see first then receive but the bible says believe in your heart first and speak it and then you receive. But it MUST be accompanied by both right believing, right speaking, and right living.

A Name above every Name

It is the name of Jesus that your authority over the devil and guarantees the answer to the command of faith.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phil. 2:9-10

Jesus defeated Satan by conquest and the kingdom of darkness. “far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come”. Eph. 1:21.

Jesus disarmed them

blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Col. 2:14-15.

Wrong Thinking Brings Wrong Speaking. Wrong Speaking Brings Wrong Living.

You need to understand that unspoken thought is never born if they are not spoken. This is for both positive and negative thoughts.

 You have been Set Free from the kingdom of darkness. Col. 1: 13-14

 How You Think in Your Heart. Prov. 23:7

 Our Mind-We are to renew our minds and bring every contrary thought to the obedience of Christ. Rom. 12:2

Our Body- bring your body into subjection. Don’t be body ruled, be Spirit ruled. You are to rule the body. The works of the flesh are just that, our works. I Cor. 9:27 Rom. 12:1.

Right & Wrong Thinking

I have stated time and again that the way we think is the way we will speak. And the way we speak is the way we will live and believe. Our belief system is built on either the way the worlds system thinks or how God tells us how to think, speak and believe.

The mind is where the battle begins for us. We are told to resist the devil. We first resist him in our minds first. James 4:7

There’s a legal side which is taking place in the mind and in the actions of God like saving people and healing people. And then our side the experimental by believing what God said by thinking speaking at living that promise that God has made. It Has to be a balance between the legal side of scripture and what God has done and the experimental side of what we need to do by excepting the legal side as proof. When there is not a balance you have just the legal side which produces nothing more than dead unresponsive people and the experimental side which only developed fanaticism. I want us to have a balanced approach in the scriptures.

Right and wrong thinking, speaking, and believing. The appropriate confession makes what we have been thinking and saying become a reality in our life and in our spirit.

Stand your ground!

But let him ask for it in faith, without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed about. ⁷ For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; James 1:6-7
