Say What the Bible Says!

Say What the Bible Says

It is so important that we start our day with the right kind of words. Psalm 118:24 gives us the right kind of words to say: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” What a good idea to start each day saying what the Bible says!

Some people may naturally enjoy getting up early and watching the sunrise. Not me. I am not a morning person. I prefer the night rather than the morning. In fact, my energy level increases around midnight!

Therefore, I would prefer to say, “Oh, it’s morning. I will not rejoice and be glad in it.” But I have discovered the value of speaking the right kind of words when I arise. Even before my feet hit the floor, I start saying, “This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.” A lot can happen between the time you sit up in bed and when your feet hit the floor!

For example, one morning when I first awoke, I put my foot down on the floor not realizing that my foot was asleep. My foot collapsed beneath me, and I twisted my ankle severely. As I was lying on the floor, gripped with pain, it wasn’t an easy thing to say, “This is the day the Lord has made.” But as I began to quote that scripture, strength rose up on the inside of me. I was able to recover from the pain, get up, and perform my tasks for the day.

By our words, we can choose to have a good day or a bad day. Our world is created by the words we speak. I encourage you to start your day by boldly making your confessions of faith.

Each day I ask the Lord for wisdom. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” I have found that as I ask for wisdom, the Lord helps me in making major decisions as well as daily minor decisions. I have often seen people stress over making decisions. I simply tell them that if they asked the Lord for wisdom, decisions could be made more quickly. The Word says that we have not because we ask not (James 4:2).

The Lord is always ready to assist us in anything that we need. Yet, it seems we neglect to ask of Him until we have exhausted every other avenue. Why not try going to the Lord first? We will find that we will save a lot of time and effort.

Another thing that I ask for daily is strength. Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” As I wait upon the Lord and commune with Him, He certainly does renew my strength. People often say to me, “You are so full of energy. What is your secret? What kind of vitamins do you take?” I tell them, “It’s not vitamins. I simply ask the Lord to supply me with an abundance of energy. And He always accommodates me.”

The Word says that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh. 8:10). If I’m getting stressed out, I begin to laugh. I find that as I laugh, my stress disappears and my strength is renewed.

Whatever circumstances you may be encountering today, know that the Heavenly Father cares about you. Your circumstances may look bleak, but those circumstances can be changed when you speak the Word of God. Choose to have a good day; say you will have a good day; and your good day will become a reality!

REMEMBER, HOW YOU THINK IS HOW YOU WILL SPEAK. AND HOW YOU SPEAK IS HOW YOU WILL LIVE!

Juan 13:34-35

I Cor. 10:24.

We are at war!

We are at war!

For, although we live in the world, we do not fight battles as the world does. The weapons with which we fight are not of the world, but have the divine power to overthrow strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty thing that rises up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to submit to Christ. 2 Cor. 10:3-5.

Introduction

We’re not just involved in a football game, a video game, a basketball game, or a playground. We are in the midst of a war. We are at war and the battlefield is your mind! Satan wants to control your every thought. Our responsibility is to fight those evil thoughts and think about Christ. Bring your thoughts to obedience to Christ. Our weapons are power through God. It’s the Bible, prayer, and through our surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit. What do you think? What’s going through your mind? What or who is controlling your thought patterns? A Christian must keep his mind on the things of God.

Our Mind

Thoughts are powerful to hurt us or to hurt us. In Proverbs 23:7, ‘For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. How do you think when you’re alone? Who controls your mind? Many are alone with their own thoughts. What do you talk to yourself about?

It is better to be patient than powerful; it is better to dominate oneself than to conquer a city. Prov. 16:32.
You will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in you, all who concentrate their thoughts on you! Isa. Acts 26:3.
Our Carnal Mind is at Enmity against God.
Your mind must be disciplined. He must be taught to think about what God’s will is. Your mind doesn’t want to do anything that God wants to do with us, for us, or through us. We are alienated and separated from God. Your mind made that decision. He will not submit to God’s will.
For the carnal mind is enmity against God… Rom. 8:7
This is because the corrupt nature has a hostile attitude toward God. He refuses to place himself under the authority of God’s standards because he cannot. Rom. 8:7
And you, who were once alienated and enemy in your mind by evil deeds, but now He has been reconciled. Col. 1:21
We have a blinded mind
The devil has supernatural power to blind your mind if you let him. I have seen the power of the enemy not only with unbelievers, but with believers who let their minds be taken with darkness. I have seen Christian men and women give place to the devil in their minds and end up in terrible situations. These men and women came from Christian homes, but they gave rise to the devil and experienced terrible situations in their lives. They are taken captive by Satan. The Holy Spirit who can open your eyes to the truth by letting Him. He’s a gentleman and won’t force you.

“whose minds the god of this age has cut off, who do not believe, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, may shine upon them.”
2 Cor. 4:4

Dubious Mind

Many people, even Christians, constantly doubt God’s goodness and care for them. They are always worried about tomorrow.
So don’t worry about what you have to eat or drink; stop tormenting yourselves. Luke 12:29
Double-minded person
How many Christians call God their Father a liar by saying yes one minute and the next letting circumstances rule their minds and lives? When you doubt, you sin. When you hesitate, you sin. Many are torn right now between their desire to love and serve God, but they feel the pull of their sinful desires. You must choose who you will follow. There is a broad road that leads to destruction and the narrow road that leads to eternal life. In that narrow door is the Cross of Jesus. And it will all be decided first on what you will do about Christ in your mind. Is he a liar? He’s crazy? Or is He the Son of the living God? You must choose.
“Everything that is not of Faith is Sin.” Rom. 14:23
But let him pray with faith, without doubting, for he who doubts is like the waves of the sea, tossed and tossed to and fro by the wind. Let him who is like this not think that he will receive anything from the Lord; He is indecisive and fickle in everything he does. James 1:6-8

How do we fix our minds?

Fixation on our minds involves discipline. When we come to the Lord Jesus Christ, our spirit is born in a new way. We are new creations and we have a new spirit that lives in an ungenerated body and an ungenerated mind. In our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ we must take command of our minds. As we think, we’ll talk. And as we speak, so we will live. What comes out of our mouth is what we’ve been thinking. Our words are localized, we are speaking things of the world and we are either speaking our allegiance to God.
1. Renew
I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may be able to prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Rom. 12:1-2
2. As a Christian you must know what belongs to you.
His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue. In this way great and precious promises are given to us, that by these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lust. And besides this, using all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to the knowledge of virtue, and to the knowledge of temperance, and to temperance, and to the patience of godliness, and to the brotherly goodness of godly goodness , and to brotherly goodness charity. tags. For if these things are in you and abound, they cause you to be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he who lacks these things is blind and cannot see far away, and he has forgotten that he was purged of his old sins. Therefore, brethren, give diligence all the more that your calling and election may be sure, for if you do these things, you will never fall. 2 Peter 1:2-11
3. Think on purpose

Finally, brethren, anything that’s true, anything that’s honest, anything that’s just, anything that’s pure, anything that you think about and the peace of God is going to keep you.
Phil.4:8-9.

Debes elegir a quién seguirás.

2 Pedro 1:2-11
3. Piensa a propósito

Flip. 4:8-9

Healing: A Forever-Settled Subject

Healing: A Forever-Settled Subject

One of the paramount questions believers ask today is not whether God is able to heal, but whether He is willing to heal. Is it always God’s will to heal? You can know for sure.
When we want to understand God’s will about a subject, we go to God’s Word. God’s Word is God’s will. And the Bible tells us that healing is the will of God. The Bible also tells us, “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven” (Ps. 119: 89) and “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my [Jesus’] words shall not pass away” (Luke 21:33). Healing is a forever-settled subject because God’s Word is forever settled!

God Took Care of Sin and Sickness
Most of us understand that God dealt with the sin problem of humanity by sending His Son Jesus to be a Sacrifice and a Substitute for us. Isaiah 53:5 says, “He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. . . .” First Peter 2:24 says, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree. . . .”
So we know that God dealt with the sin problem in Christ’s great substitutionary work. But both of these scriptures also state that God dealt with sickness and disease for us in the same act of redemption.
ISAIAH 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
1 PETER 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.
The prophet Isaiah declared God’s will concerning healing when he said about the Messiah, “with his stripes we are healed.” The Apostle Peter restates God’s will concerning healing in First Peter 2:24: “by whose stripes ye were healed.” Isaiah prophesied of the coming Messiah and of redemption. Peter was an eyewitness to what took place as described by Isaiah. He was present when the Roman soldiers put those stripes on Jesus’ back and hung Him on the cross at Golgotha’s hill.

Let’s look at another New Testament counterpart of Isaiah 53:5.
MATTHEW 8:16-17
16 When the even was come, they brought unto him [Jesus] many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias [Isaiah] the prophet, saying, HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES, AND BARE OUR SICKNESSES.
By healing the sick in His earthly ministry, Jesus was fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy (“with his stripes we are healed”) before He ever went to the cross and legally obtained redemption for us. Friend, healing is one of the benefits of our redemption! According to the Word of God, Jesus not only died and rose again for our sins, but He died and rose again for our sicknesses and diseases too. Healing belongs to us just as salvation belongs to us. Healing is part and parcel of our redemption!

He Healed ALL of Our Diseases
Looking at the Psalms, we again see that healing is one of the benefits of our redemption. Psalm 103:2-3 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his BENEFITS: Who forgives all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”
Notice verse 3 says the Lord heals all of our diseases . . . not just a few, and not just our minor ailments. The word “all” means nothing left out. Nothing is left out of the redemptive work of Christ: not a headache, not a stomach-ache, not any kind of cancer, nor any kind of heart trouble. In God’s plan of redemption, every sickness and disease has been dealt with!

What About Jesus?
Now, what about Jesus, who consummated our redemption in His death, burial, and resurrection? Jesus came to the earth to do the will of the Father. In fact, repeatedly, Jesus said, “I have come to do the will of Him who sent Me.” In John 14:9, He said, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” As Jesus walked this earth and fulfilled His earthly ministry, He was the will of God in action!
Let’s look at yet another passage of Scripture that further illustrates God’s will concerning healing.
LUKE 5:12-13
12 And it came to pass, when he [Jesus] was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I WILL: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
The question concerning God’s will to heal is answered very explicitly in this passage. In verses 12 and 13, when the leper questioned Jesus specifically concerning His will to heal, Jesus answered, “I will!” The New International Version says, ” ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’ Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be clean!’ And immediately the leprosy left him.” The New English Bible translates this verse: ” ‘Indeed I will; be clean again.’ ” Another translation says, ” ‘It is my pleasure; be clean.’ ”
Verse 12 of the King James Version says the man was full of leprosy, indicating he had leprosy that was in the last stages. Leprosy is a horrific disease that deforms and mutilates the body as it progresses. We can gather from this verse that since the man was full of leprosy, the disease was probably more advanced than just a spot on his arm or leg. Yet with one sentence from the Master’s lips: “I will: be thou clean,” the leper was healed (v. 13)!

Jesus Is Willing . . . Be Healed!
Most Christians today don’t have a problem seeing Jesus in His earthly ministry as the Healer. They don’t question that He was anointed by God and that He had the power to heal sickness and disease (Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38). Most Christians don’t even question so much Jesus’ ability to heal people today as they do His willingness to demonstrate that healing power on their behalf.
However, any question about Jesus’ willingness to heal is answered very vividly in this account of the leper in Luke chapter 5. And since Jesus hasn’t changed (Heb. 13:8; Mal. 3:6), and He was willing to heal then, He is willing to heal now. He’s willing that you be healed.
We need to have faith not only in Jesus’ power and ability to heal, but also in His willingness and compassion to heal. We should no longer question whether or not Jesus wants us healed, because He provided healing for us in His great act of redemption. And He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He hasn’t changed! He is still saying today, “I will!”

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isa. 54:17

There’s a man who’s made up his mind that no matter what happens he’s going to praise the Lord. It’s important to understand that praise should not arise merely from our feelings or our circumstances. It should arise out of our will; it should arise out of a deep will-seated decision. My heart is fixed: no matter what happens I’m going to praise God.

And then the psalmist says, “I will give praise even with my glory.” What does he mean when he says, my glory? Fortunately, the Bible does not leave us to wonder, because on the Day of Pentecost in his sermon in Jerusalem, the apostle Peter quoted that particular verse but he changed one word. He changed glory to tongue. He quoted it this way: ”I will give praise with my tongue.” So that tells us a wonderful secret, our tongue is our glory. Why is that? Or why did God give us a tongue? Do you know the real reason why God gave us a tongue – the primary reason why you and I have a tongue? It’s to praise God with, and only when we use our tongue for God’s glory are we using it aright. And our tongue is our glory because with it, above all other members of our body, we can glorify God and use it for the purpose for which we were created.

Battle of the Mind!

Battle of the Mind

Introduction

Many people don’t understand that there’s a constant battle to occupy your mind. God is giving us a tremendous gift of choosing of whom we will hear and obey. As God speaks to his people to accomplish great things the enemy speaks to his people to kill, steal and destroy. Satan also speaks to the children of God to confuse them and twist the truth that they have learned. Let us look at what the word of God says and how to win the battle of the mind.

Renew Your Mind

This is a constant on-going battle to keep your mind on God.
Rom. 12: 1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2 Cor. 10: 3-6
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Fight the Good Fight of Faith

You must use the Word of God to speak again the evil one.
I John 4: 4
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
I Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Use the Word of God

The Word of God is your weapon to stand strong against the enemy. Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. James 4:7-9

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (The devil will run from us in terror). You resist with the confession of your mouth!
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Who resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. I Peter 5:8-9

Remember how you THINK, is how you will Speak. And how you speak is how you will LIVE!

These are the Voices; these are the Lies!

These are the Voices; these are the Lies!

Fear of others becomes a snare, but the one who trusts in the LORD is safe.
Proverbs 29:25

“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”
Psalms 118:6

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall, I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isa. 54:17

As a psychologist and minister I have counseled hundreds of people over the years in every walk of life. I have counseled people of different cultures, ethnicities, lifestyles, and we all have one thing in common. For the most part many lies have been spoken about us and to us from significant people in our lives. And because these people who spoke to us much negatively, we tend to believe that more than anything else.
There are two theories and the Psych-Social Construction of Reality. Lifespan development that describes the different stages of learning that people go through lifespan development starts from when one is born until one die. This theory discovered that we are all made up of positive and negative experiences in life. We’ve all had things spoken over us that created deception, low self-esteem, self-hate, and despising oneself. All of these positive and negative voices have shaped us to be who we are. The second theory Psych-Social Construction of Reality occurs and is shaped by not only our life experiences but through this lens we interpret life.

Why do we believe the Lies?

This subject is a very important topic to understand. We must realize that everything that manifests itself in the physical, emotional, or psychological has its roots in the spiritual. Everyone must consider what they are chasing in life and if it will last. The world offers dry wells from which people seek fulfillment. But Father God who is the fountain of living water offers an oasis in a very dry and desolate world. We in theological terms are triune. We are a spirit, which has a soul and lives in a body. We are spirit and we live on forever. We will live forever with Father God or we will live separated from Him. This reconciliation or separation is based on one premise, our freedom to choose either path. Our souls are our emotional and psychological make-up. Our soul reflects the type of psych-social construction of our reality. Lifespan development basically means that the life course for a person is developed and solidified through different life experiences. This is part of the make-up of our soul. Good and bad experiences are lived and relived again and again over our lifespan. This is considered our “collectiveness” of both good and bad life experiences. The manifestations of our experiences that make up our reality. This is our soul which consists of the good, the bad, and the ugly. The third piece of our being is called our body. Our body houses our spirit and our soul. Scripturally it is called a temple. This temple either holds a spirit that has been born again or a lost eternally. Once again, our spirituality or lack thereof is how we are wired together.

We Are Broken!

In 1 Corinthians 13:12 states that “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, as I am fully known.” We know in part. We don’t understand all or even how trauma we experienced or still experiencing still affects us. It is through the progressive revelation by God’s spirit to our soul that we slowly begin to unravel all of the good, bad, and ugly in our lives. Jesus stated that through our relationship with Him and as we surrender to Him, we will begin to understand the TRUTH as Father God sees truth of our psych-social construction of our own reality and how it has affected us and those who are around us past and present. Jesus stated that, “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32. It is that truth revealed to us in different stages of our lives that we begin to see how the web of trauma reveals the chains of our own darkness and its manifestations known as traumatic events.

Trauma basically is a brokenness that has resulted for mankind due to our rebellion against God. It’s our story, both personal and collective, that has been buried in the shadows of our own consciousness, and it plays time it again in our lives. Trauma creates a hard shell over us separating us from ourselves and others. Trauma consists of broken moments that trigger and resurface time and again in the darkness of our subconscious. Trauma creates a void, and an emptiness that can only be healed through the power of God.

Trauma as its basic conception, pushes one to become that which has been fractured. Remember the Samaritan woman at the well who met Jesus and she wanted to discuss religion. Christ discussed with her worship. She began discussing the differences between her faith to divert attention from her own fractured self. Here’s a woman that usually should collect water at the well in the morning with other ladies but because her life was so chaotic, no one was there to associate with her. She had many broken relationships. Many failed marriages. Even though her story isn’t complete, my years of experience of working with people that have fractured lives in multi-generational relationships I know their unending story that carried over many generations.

Trauma disrupts, and breaks down every spiritual, physical, emotional, and psychological form of communication and relationships that an individual has. I stated in the first teaching that trauma is never an individual act, but an act that involves many other people generational trauma, which we have named collective trauma that deals with multi-generational issues of rebellion and separation from God.

The Key to Success!
We must understand that we have to train our mind to listen to God’s voice. He says that his children know his voice. To understand more of God voice speaking to us we must Inundate ourselves in his word.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rom. 12:1-2

Bless the Lord oh my Soul!

Bless the Lord oh my Soul

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalms 103:1-5 KJV

David, there, is speaking to his own soul. In effect, he’s saying to his soul, “Don’t be sluggish, don’t be unthankful, don’t be unresponsive. Bless the Lord for all His benefits,” and then he lists in succession six specific benefits.

Number one, the Lord forgiveth all thine iniquities.
Number two, He healeth all thy diseases.
Number three, He redeemeth thy life from destruction.
Number four, He crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies.
Number five, He satisfieth thy mouth with good things
Number six, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Surely if we understand these six unchanging benefits and mercies of the Lord, then we need to do as David did to his own soul. We need to say to our soul, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name.” If we don’t do that, it’s surely evidence that we’re forgetting His benefits. One good way never to forget those benefits is to stir up our soul and bless the Lord at all times.

Trusting in God’s Faithfulness!

Trusting in God’s Faithfulness!

[Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

God tests us by allowing us to go through different experiences so we may grow in faith and endurance. Sometimes those testing’s come by our disobedience toward Him and His word. I remember there was a time that I was extremely ill. It was not God testing me it was due to my poor eating habits and lack of exercise. My disobedience in these areas created havoc on my body.
How can we rejoice in those difficult moments of testing? Remember, God does not use sickness or sinful situations to test us. The enemy, Satan uses sickness and disease. The testing of our faith produces both endurance and patience. God stated that in this world we would face tribulation and persecution but we are to stand strong and resist the enemy. Standing strong and resisting the enemy is the testing of our faith.

How do you respond to that situation? Do you say to yourself, “Everything’s gone wrong! The Lord’s promise will never come true”? No, I don’t believe that. It says, “Until the time that the promise came, the word of the Lord tested him.” How important it is to see that when the Lord gives us a promise, many times everything that happens next will seem to be the very opposite of what God has promised. It’s so important that at times like that we don’t give up on the promise, we don’t say, “God has forgotten; God has failed.”
We must speak unto those mountains that we are facing the promises of God. We should confess openly and without shame our trust in God. Many people speak of their mountains but not of their faith.

You see, that promise that God gave us is testing us. It’s testing our faith and our constancy to see if we’ll hold on in the darkest hour. And when we pass the test, then, like all the people in scripture, we will see the promises of God will be fulfilled.

Remember the way to think, is what you will speak. And what you speak is how you will live!
