The Law of Life versus The Law of Death

The Law of Life versus The Law of Death

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.  For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.  For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh [sinful nature imbedded in our five senses] is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.  Those, who are in the flesh, cannot please God. Romans 8:1-8.

Introduction

We must come to a point in our lives, but we are so tired of how we are at the things we are chasing, depression, anger, resentment, and most of all lack of peace. The law of sin, and death is basically describing two types of people. The first is those who are spiritually dead, but life physically alive and they live terribly frustrated, going through cycles of chaos. The second person is a religious person who is also spiritually dead and is trying to please God on their own terms. He has tried to figure out a way through his own works to do the will of God. Both find out sooner or later that this is a law of sin and death if we could do it on our own, we would not need Jesus.

Remember that the New Covenant has a new law, a new priesthood, new sacrifice, and a new walk. This is why the Old Covenant, which is the Old Testament was replaced with the New Covenant which is the New Testament. The new life of the Christian is the result of  being born again. Anyone who is outside of Christ (the New Testament) is under the law of the Old Covenant and is under the law of death.

The Law of the New Covenant

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

The word love here is “agape”. This is God’s love. God came to save mankind not to destroy mankind. The New Covenant came into being with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus fulfilled the Old Covenant with its laws, ceremonies, and priesthood and had it laid aside. This occurred when Jesus stated on the cross “It is Finished”.

When God raised Jesus from the dead, and made Him head of a new covenant. He himself is a high priest, and we are his holy and royal priesthood. The rules for a daily walk are not found in Jesus’ teachings and Paul’s revelation. The new law of law is interpreted in a special way in 1st Corinthians 13. It is revelation of the grace of God. Is revelation of the sons of God. We are to walk that as the sons of Abraham walked in the realm of senses, but as a New Testament Creation Man who is born again and we are to walk in the spirit of love.

But I say, walk by the spirit, (by your born-again spirit yielded to the Holy Spirit) and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Gal. 5:16. He that walks by the flesh are those who walk by their five senses. The flesh is a lifestyle, a conduct that one chooses. The recreated spirit is to dominate the senses and govern our conduct.

We have the love of God. We do not need to pray for His love in us. Love does not come through prayer or fasting. We have received God’s love nature in our spirits. When we are born again when have received the nature of Father God. We are his children. We are born of Love. We do not need to pray for love because when we are born again, we have His love.

“God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Rom. 5:5

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. I John 4:8

 Believing In Love

“So, we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” I John 4:16.

Now you can understand this new life, born again spirit, is governed by love. Satan has governed mankind, in darkness and hatred and selfishness. But now under a new authority by the Lord God and our New Birth, our daily life should be lived in love.

“Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law”. Romans 13:10

Jesus is that love that that fulfilled the old commandment and set it aside. Love established another commandment of love God does not to man the man in Christ to love him if he walks in fellowship, he cannot help but love him because man is now a lover. This is the solution to the human problem in the world. If Love governed, there would be no more wars, no more lawsuits, no more jails are prisons, all these things would cease to end.

Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. I Cor. 10:24

Imitators of God

You see the problem is Sense Knowledge has failed and only God’s love can turn lives around. I have a teaching called “Spirituality and Collective Trauma.” Many children are brought up in very dysfunctional homes. Drug addiction, gangs, domestic violence, all these different things produce deviant and criminal behavior. As you know, we teach in the prisons and I’ll tell you time again if you look at our testimonies of these men on our Webpage who we minister to have had a lifetime of trauma that has produced very negative behavior. The hatred and selfishness that they experienced produced criminals, but love produces beautiful people.

You see the New Creation is born from the love of God. For God so loved the World that He gave. Jn. 3:16.

The failure of Christianity is not a failure of the nature of God in men, but it is because men has substituted church organization for the new creation. Sense Knowledge has gained supremacy in the church, and Jesus is no longer the Lord or head of the church, worldly minded men rule most of the churches. It must be fully understood that the 10 Commandments are never given to the new creation, and that the new commandment was never given to the natural man. This, if it is, if it were known, would save much of the confusion among those who are teaching the law today.

The Law of Light and Darkness

“The one who says he is in the light but hates his brother or sister is in the darkness until now. The one who loves his brother or sister remains in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But the one who hates his brother or sister is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he’s going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”  I John 2:9-11.

The moment we step out of love we step into darkness. Sense Knowledge rules them. Satan governs through selfishness.

“We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death. Everyone who hates his brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. This is how we have come to know love: He laid down his life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.” I John 3:14-16

Living the New Law

If anyone has this world’s goods and sees a fellow believer in need but withholds compassion from him—how does God’s love reside in him? Little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in action and in truth. This is how we will know that we belong to the truth and will reassure our hearts before him whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows all things. Dear friends, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive whatever we ask from him because we keep his commands and do what is pleasing in His sight. Now this is his command: that we believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as he commanded us. I John 3:17-23

When we step out of love, we step into darkness. Scripture makes it very plain that our prayers and petitions are not answered because we remain in darkness. I know that many people are sick and full of disease and are not healed because they’re not walking in love. I know the church has failed miserably and helping one another. Instead of being a blessing at times they are a curse to one another full of backbiting, deceit and gossip. The next time you do not receive the petitions to your prayers check your love life.

2 Pedro 1:2-4.

Grace- God’s Unlimited Provision!

Grace- God’s Unlimited Provision!

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through evil desire. 2 Peter 1:2-4

Introduction

The church has a little understanding of the finish work of Jesus Christ. It’s like having undeveloped resources and never using them. It’s like the church lives mentality of poverty and ignorance and doesn’t understand there’s a setting upon tremendous riches and resources.
Our lives should reflect a very substance of being of our Father God. If we could truly harness what the above scripture is talking about, we would walk in the creative ability granted to us. His miracle working power that was manifested in Jesus has been important to us.
Notice carefully that the scripture says He (Father God) has granted unto us all things that pertain to this life and godliness, and we have become partakers of his very nature. This nature is called the Eternal Life, and Jesus said I have come, that you might have life and life abundantly, but the church is that walking in abundant life.

The Creativity of the Recreated Born-Again Human Spirit
Everything that we have received in the New Birth is by FAITH. Scripture stated in Heb. 11:1-3 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
Heb. 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

[ And] Without faith no one can please God. [ For; Because] Anyone who comes to God must believe that He ·is real [exists] and that he rewards those who ·truly want to find [earnestly/sincerely seek] Him. (Expanded Bible).

So, as born-again men and women, we must understand that God ‘s creative nature has imported to us. The heathen does not have that. So, with the advent of Christianity, and preaching the word of God, and I must say the true word of God, not religion, brings about God ‘s creative power as it is believed in Faith.

Many alleged Christians want to substitute Reason and or Education in trying to understand the born-again creativity that Father God has imparted unto us. I am not against education but I understand fully that we understand Father God and His word by our inner man, our spirit man.

You and I must understand that Father God has given us a great privilege and task to with together with Him.

John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.

Working together with him, we also appeal to you, “Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.” 2 Cor. 6:1

2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!”

God has imported his grace all of His resources for us to use with the contact of our physical and mental attributes. To humanity five senses are required. I miss amount of knowledge, but that knowledge is no value without the wisdom of God and how do use it. There’s a scripture says Christ has become wisdom to us Through this knowledge. What is God doing in us? He’s thinking of us, illuminating on spirits, illuminating our minds, renewing them, so that they become responsive to his indwelling presence. Every person who is receive the nature and life of Father God has given us the right to use those in His service.
We have been looking at the things of God through called reasoning, and because we’re relying on our five senses and secular education, we miss a lot of the secrets and wisdom of God. The Holy Ghost reveals to our newly re-created born-again spirits and we begin to understand and see the workings of God. We need to recognize the God-given abilities that you have. Every person who has been born again have received the nature and life of the Lord God, and his divine prerogatives that amaze us.

Exact Knowledge

The following scripture I have prayed for many throughout the years for their spiritual growth. This prayer by the Apostle Paul for the church is very important so that we follow this advice and model to pray for different individuals.

For this reason, also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the (exact or perfect) knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, so that you may have great endurance (steadfastness) and patience, joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light. He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. In Him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col. 1:9-14

The Greek word used here by Paul is “Epignosis” means the perfect, exact, and complete knowledge and wisdom provided by Father God toward us. The word light in Greek means a new type of metal efficiency and understanding that ordinary unregenerated minds do not comprehend.

Eph. 1:18, “I pray that the eyes of your heart (our inner man) may be enlightened so that you may know (have the complete knowledge and wisdom) what the hope of His calling is, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints”.

In 1 John 1:5, “…God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in Him.” Darkness is a spiritual nature that manifests itself in the physical and psychological realm. Everything that is physiological and psychological has its roots in the spiritual. This darkness can and does overwhelm and overpower people. When we walk according to the light provided to us by the Word of God God’s grace, His provision, His ability, guides us as we surrender to Him.

The Inward Man

Eph. 3:16, “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inward man.”

This inward mentioned that Paul is speaking about is our spirit man. God will strengthen us according to his ability and build us up as we strengthen our spiritual his word.
Father God, as we are recreated, we are born again, but we are going to be built up and completed through His Word. He will build His Word into our inner man as we surrender to him. As we surrender to him will become more like him.

John 1:3, “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

The life that is within Jesus is the life of Father God. And His life is our light, our ability, our wisdom. The Holy Ghost Himself becomes our tutor, leading us from strength to strength, success to success, from our human frailty to His strength within us. From our failures into his victories. His God, taking over, building Himself into us until we can say with Paul it is no longer that I live, but Christ who lives within me. Galatians 2:20.

Progressive Sanctification-Divine Ability Utilized

Very few Christians have taken advantage of John 14:26, 6. “But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name; he will teach you all things, and bring to remembrance all that I have said onto you.” What has He brought to our remembrance is that Word of God that we have hidden in our hearts.

What all things that He is going to teach us. All things mean all things. Whatever endeavor that the Lord God put you in, you will shine and his glory as you respond to the things that the Holy Ghost is teaching you. He is our teacher. He is our guide. He takes the realm of uncertainty to absolute certainty. It is not only the reality of Christ, but the reality of all that surrounds us, the great world in which we walk and live in and more and have our being. It’s an ability that we have never utilized. It is mental and spiritual strength. And Ephesians 3: 20 says, “now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think according to His ability that work is within us. His grace, His ability, works in us as we work with Him. Grace. Is God’s unending resources. All that we lack we have in Jesus. We are complete in Him.

Rom. 12:1-2, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Lucas 6:45

Como crees, (piensas) así hablarás. Y como hables será como vivirás.

The Sense Ruled Mind!

The Sense-Ruled Mind!
The unrenewed mind is at war against the Word of God. It does not believe the Word of God. It is always praying for faith but never arriving. The unrenewed mind is always struggling to get faith, always confessing failure, always talking unbelief, saying they believe in the Word of God but their confession and actions negated by their lifestyle. You never see them acting on the word of God. The key to remember is to Think on the Word of God. To confess the Word of God. And act or live according to the Word of God.
How many Christians are still acting like babies because the word of God is not number one in their lives. Their priorities are mixed up so their lives are mixed up. Their minds are mixed up because they’re not concentrating on the word of God is important to know who we are in Him so we can think on his word speak His word and act on His word.
Many Christians don’t know who they are in Christ Jesus, they are still babies in their faith, and because of that they are continually speaking out. God says that we are complete and him and we like nothing but yet this is not the confession of the church. The church is always confessing about insufficiency the lack of something, but the two scriptures I’m going to share with you state that we lack nothing if we are lacking it’s because we are baby Christians and we don’t know the rules of the game. God expects us to go to him in faith, not doubting, but in faith, and if we don’t go to him in faith, we will receive nothing from him.
And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power: Col. 2:10
May grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires. 2 Peter 1:2-4

• Grace: the ability that God gives you through the understanding His word and provisions needed to do His will.
• Peace: the world offers chaos but through standing on the word of God we know that he has our back and we are not afraid of bad news. Psalms 112: 7, “He will not fear bad news; his heart is confident, trusting in the LORD.”
• Fear thou not; for I am with thee be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isa. 41:10
• No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isa. 54:17
• What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 8:31-39
The way we think is the way we will speak. And the way we speak is the way we will live.

The Two Different Confessions Who Is Double-Minded.
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God—who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly—and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. James 1:5-7.
The scripture in this Epistle of James is a perfect example of many in the body of Christ. They want the blessings of Abraham with the faith of Thomas. (John 20:24-29) Lord God, when he presented himself to Thomas, he scolded him for his lack of faith but he said, mature, blessed, happy strong are those who can believe without seeing. We are surrounded by our five senses. Our five senses govern us, and that’s what gives us a double-minded confession. This was the problem with Thomas and those like him he wanted to see the Lord physically so he would believe. The Lord did not say to Thomas or even the church today I understand that your weak and full of doubt but I will help you anyways. God says without faith it is impossible to receive anything from Him.
The way we think is the way we will speak. And the way we speak is the way we will live.

The Law of the Five Senses. Carnality vs. Spirituality

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh (controlled by our five senses), but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded (controlled by our five senses) is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. Rom. 8:5-7 (KJV).

But if the Spirit is leading you (born again recreated spirit), you are not under the law.
(The flesh- controlled by our five senses). You are not trying to live your life with out the control of the Holy Spirit on your born-again recreated spirit (your inner man). Paul gives a long list of works of the flesh which are your five senses. Gal. 5:19, “The ·wrong things the sinful self does [works of the flesh/sinful nature] are ·clear [evident; obvious]: ·being sexually unfaithful [sexual immorality], ·not being pure [impurity], ·taking part in sexual sins [depravity; promiscuity]. (Expanded Bible).

The battle we fight every hour of every day in our daily walk is either to be guided by our five senses or by letting the Holy Spirit guide our recreated born-again spirit. My inner man my born again recreated spirit should govern our five senses. This happens by submitting every thought and every experience to the Word of God. Here are two scriptures to help us in this battle.

·So [Therefore] brothers and sisters, since God has shown us great mercy, I ·beg [urge; appeal to] you to offer your ·lives [selves; bodies] as a living sacrifice to him. Your offering must be ·only for God [holy] and pleasing to him, which is the ·spiritual [or authentic; true; or appropriate; fitting; or rational; reasonable] way for you to worship. Do not be ·shaped by [conformed to; pressed into a mold by] this ·world [age]; instead, be ·changed within [transformed] by ·a new way of thinking [or changing the way you think; the renewing of your mind]. Then you will be able to ·decide [discern; test and approve] what ·God wants for you [is God’s will]; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. (Rom. 12:1-2. Expanded Bible).
We fight with weapons that are ·different from those the world uses [not merely human weapons; not of the flesh-five senses]. Our weapons have power from God that can destroy ·the enemy’s strong places [ strongholds; fortresses]. We destroy ·people’s arguments [human reasoning; sophistries] and every ·proud thing [pretension; exalted opinion; high thing] that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We capture every thought and make it obey Christ. We are ready to ·punish [avenge] ·anyone there who does not obey [every disobedience], ·but first we want you to obey fully [ once/after your obedience is fulfilled; once the church as a whole repents, Paul will discipline those who refuse]. You ·must look at the facts before you [or are looking only at outward appearances]. If you ·feel sure [are confident] that you belong to Christ, you must remember [consider again] that we belong to Christ just as you do. (2 Cor. 10:4-7, Expanded Bible).
God is saying judge everything that your five senses present to you by His word. His word is like a lamp for our feet and a light for our path [ it shows how life should be lived. (Psalms 119:105, Expanded Bible).
• The way we think is the way we will speak. And the way we speak is the way we will live.

The New Kind of Knowledge
• Faith Contradicts Circumstances
….for He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Heb. 13:5-6.
• We walk by Faith not by our feelings.
• People speak defeat, disease, and poverty.
• Wrong thinking, wrong believing, and wrong talking will result in wrong living.
• Faith Sees the Answer and says Thank You Father!
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were (past tense) healed.
1 Peter 2:24.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall, I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23
• Real Faith in God simply says what God says about themselves and circumstances.
• Believe in your Heart!
What is the heart? It is not your physical heart and it is your inner man which is your spirit. Your heart here is used that of most inner depths of your psych being your mind and your personality.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45
How you believe, (think) is how you will speak. And how you speak will is how you will live.

Redemption-The Price Jesus Paid!

Redemption-The Price Jesus Paid!

Redemption is a word that’s in the minds of most believers, but they really don’t understand what it means. Redemption is a very broad word, especially in the Greek, but it has two main points that I want to discuss when is called buying back, and the other is the righteousness of God.

The Reason for Redemption

We must understand that the world belongs to the god of this world, which is Satan. When Adam and Eve rebelled against God, they handed over the title deed of the earth to Satan. It was a legal transaction, and then that legal transaction certain terms had to be met in order for it to be fulfilled, and or canceled. A debt was incurred, and payment was to be made. The payment was redemptive work of the lord Jesus Christ.
It is very evident that mankind cannot save himself. Due to Adam and Eve’s rebellion mankind, became under the dominion of Satan. That nature that rebellion is in our very spirits so God through his son, Jesus Christ came to pay the ultimate price to set things straight. The death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled, the final debt of mankind’s rebellion, and the transaction was paid because that Father God laid our sins and diseases upon Jesus. Scripture says He (Jesus) who knew no sin God made Him to become sin so we become the righteousness of God in Jesus.

He Put Sin Away

Jesus was not only the sin bearer, but God accepted his substitutionary sacrifice on our behalf. Scripture makes it very plain that God delivered him on the account of our sins and put our sins on him. He was raised from the dead because He put it away. He would satisfy the claims of justice after he was made alive in spirit that is re-created. He was the first born out of death (He is the second Adam) and was declared the first born of many brethren by the life of Father God imported to Him. Rom. 8:29 “For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.”
Jesus met the adversary in his own kingdom, and striped Satan’s authority, and took from him all the dominion that he had over the world when Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus not only puts the power of sin away, but also was the substitute in redemption. Through His sacrifice that we are conquerors when Christ was raised from the dead,
He redeemed us and made us more than conquerors in him. And Ephesians 1:7 it says, “In Him we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation] through His blood, [which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in] the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace.” (Amplified Bible).

In Whom We Have

In the following scriptures, we must know carefully what they say. In whom we have is present tense that means our redemption out of the hand of the enemy, so Satan no longer has dominion over us. “For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under the law but under grace.” Rom. 6:14
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, Col. 1:13-14
Also note, carefully that we have been delivered out of the authority of Satan. He has no dominion over us. Don’t let the opinions of theologians or different religions take away the reality of this fact. You are redeemed. Satan has no more right to reign over you. We have been delivered out of Satan’s authority. We have been translated into the kingdom of the Son of the Fathers love. Our all is now in Christ, the Son of his love in whom we have redemption now. This redemption from Satan is past tense, for you have been redeemed when you turned your life over to the Lord Jesus Christ being born again.

This is an Eternal Redemption

There are some religions that say it is still needed to have a continually sacrifice of Christ for the forgiveness of sin. And we must confess our sins to a man but Jesus is our high priest. “Christ has appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come. In the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands (that is, not of this creation), he entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.” Heb. 9:11-12

This means whoever has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is now part of the family of God. Satan is eternally, defeated. That redemption is an eternal redemption. God through his Jesus satisfied the claims of justice. That Son is now seated at the right hand of the Father who is the first begotten from the dead. The right hand of the Father and the Jesus set us free from the dominion of Satan. Jesus is the head. We must know, understand, and enjoy our rights in redemption. It’s very important that we know that Christ death on the cross, and his substitutionary sacrifice not only met our needs, but reached back and canceled all the promissory notes of the first covenant so that every man that believed in the blood of bulls and goats, it was covered by the blood, that perfectly redeemed by the blood of Jesus, carried into the holy of holies They were redeemed as servants, we are redeemed as sons.

“Therefore, he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance, because a death has taken place for redemption from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.” Heb. 9:15

“But now he has appeared one time, at the end of the ages, for the removal of sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Heb. 9:26

We are New Creations

Christianity is more than just a forgiveness of sin. We must understand that Jesus paid the ultimate price for us. For us to be re-created in Jesus had to be re-created. And Acts 13:33-35. “Thou art my son this day I’ve created day I know that I raised him from the dead now no more to return to corruption.”

Col. 1:18 states “that Jesus is the head of the body; a church, who is beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have preeminence.”

1 Peter 3:18 states that “Jesus was made alive in spirit that is not of the Holy Spirit, but his own spirit we had died in spirit, and his body became mortal so you must be made alive again.”

The new creation took place just like the redemption took place, just as righteousness took place. Our new creation became a fact, the mind of justice, the moment Jesus was made alive in spirit.

The Vital Side

The person who is in Christ is a New Creation, a new species. The Born-Again Person never existed until the work of redemption of Christ was completed. When we are born again, we received the very nature and life of God. We must understand this new creation awaits every person who is unsaved. Don’t misunderstand we are made in our spirit man the image of God when we were born again. When Redemption was completed, Christ sat down because His work was finished. It was consummated when the Blood of Jesus was accepted.

Redeem The Time!

Redeem The Time!

Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk—not as unwise people but as wise—making the most of the time, because the days are evil. Eph. 5: 15-16

We live in a world that has its priorities very wrong. We can see that what God considers good and wholesome the world sees as evil. We turn to the news and see that only evil is glorified. We see that the things that God see as good and holy are mocked and discredited. The entire world as it states in 2 Cor. 4:4 is in the hands of the evil one. The need to walk in wisdom and integrity is paramount to be able to withstand the onslaught of Satanic activity. We need to use all of our resources including time wisely.

What does that mean, “to redeem the time? Well, let me ask you another question. If I were to ask you, “What is the thing in your life that you find hardest to manage? What is the thing that you so often find yourself short of, that you don’t have enough of?” What would you answer?

You might perhaps think money, but in my experience there’s one thing that’s much harder to manage than money, something that I’m much more often short of than money is time. I believe time is the hardest thing to manage properly in our lives. I believe that the stewardship of time is perhaps the supreme test of our discipline and our real Christianity. And so, I pray like the Apostle Paul, to redeem our time and use it to promote the Kingdom of God.

You see, your priorities of time really indicate the values of your life. Things that have low priority probably will drop off the bottom of the list. If you don’t give high priority to the things that really matter, your life will be out of order. So, you, like me, need to echo that prayer, Teach me to walk wisely making the most of the time you have given Father.

Anthony Martinez- It’s Never Too Late!

He proved to be a warrior for Jesus and led many on the prison yard and in his cell block to Jesus. He was released from custody in March of this year and is currently living at a half-way house in Los Angeles. He also goes to skid-row and preaches to people who are homeless the love of God.
At the age of 26 he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. His parole date would have been in 2042. He served 13 years of a 35 years to life sentence. Dr. Emerick wrote letters of support to the Governor for his commutation of his sentence which was granted and later we wrote another letter of support to the Board of Parole. And in March of this year, he received parole and was released from prison.

Testimony.
My name is Anthony Martinez, and I was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for attempted murder of an individual.
I was born and raised in Inglewood, California. My life consisted of drug dealing and gangs. My father left my mother when I was five years old, I never saw him again. My mother raised four children, including myself on her own. I didn’t realize that my mother was going through so much and now I understand that she is the strongest woman in the world to me. When I was growing up, I wasn’t taught about who Jesus was what he accomplished on the cross for me. Instead, my brother and all his friends showed me and at 8 years of I began to commit criminal acts. An at 14 years of age I became a gang member with a criminal mindset to sell drugs, guns, fight, and instill fear upon other people through violence. From a very young age I dedicated my life to evil because the devil had me believing that this is what life is all about and this is who I was a gang member. I started to realize more that the sins I committed were tearing me apart. I was 26 years old but yet so weary I couldn’t understand why. I was always living in fear of my life and do this. I carried a gun everywhere I went because I did not feel protected or at peace. How many felt happy when I was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and being with different women. But those no longer satisfied me even though I kept chasing them. When I tried to get more money to buy new things, that’s really never lasted.

In my neighborhood, we are always at war with certain rival gangs, and my consistent violet relay retaliations only field the anger and hate in my heart. My pride and reckless way of thinking caused me to even go against my own friends. A couple of months later, or shot at a party and almost lost my life. During my recovery, and after I isolated myself, and became more and more reckless. I later started to develop nightmares that I was being killed, and I would wake up gasping for air because I couldn’t breathe. Life was just getting too heavy for me and I was tired of the load of the different things that I did that I knew were sinful. I really didn’t pray much and I didn’t know who God was, but I got down on my knees one day and told God I was tired of living my life like this. My daughter was seven years old and my girlfriend is pregnant with my second daughter, so I asked God for help. Then I went back to my destructive and reckless lifestyle. Two weeks later was arrested for attempted murder, and later sentenced to life in prison. The first time I really heard about the gospel was in my fourth year of my sentence. The Lord used His word to touch my heart in a very powerful way. When I heard the gospel, I know it was the truth. I knew God was knocking on my heart to let him in, but I still ran from his love, because I still wanted to live my life for myself.

When I was in Calipatria State Prison, one of my friends left the gang and gave his life to. Jesus invited me to a two-day church service call Kairos I declined but the next day he said the participation form to Michelle anyway, I told him I wasn’t going to sign it, but for some reason I did that she got move me to go because that today serious. I heard God’s voice clearly telling me what are you waiting for?

The reason for that question was because I didn’t budge when they called people to receive Jesus at the end of the service. I went back to my cell uncomfortably. The whole night I couldn’t sleep. I knew in my heart my life belongs to God, and not to the gang. The feeling I had to give my life to Christ Was very powerful, but it scared me because I never lived my life outside of the gang. The next day I went to the last service they called an altar call again. I sat there with my heart racing in my chest. The pastor looked around, trying to find courage to stand up. I took a few more minutes to try to calm down but eventually, I just bounce up out of my chair, walk straight to the pastor ‘s arms, and he gave me a long, confirming hug, and congratulated my decision to receive Jesus that day.
Leaving my gang was not easy. I was persecuted by those who I considered the closest to me. However, God is faithful and He protected me the hate and gave me through the heat and gave me strength to continue. From that day forward, God will continue really his wisdom, and I pursued growth in the knowledge of his word, and understanding his will for my life. My purpose on this earth is to share the hope that is in me to those who are still living that destructive gang style that I want to keep my life to. I now share the gospel of Jesus Christ and I had freed me from your deceptive way of thinking I know I am now a man of wisdom who leads my family in the ways of the lord I thank God for my deliverance.

I also thank God for Dr. Emerick and his wife, Claudia, who have consistently for the last two years served as Volunteer Chaplains at the Lancaster State Prison. Every Sunday faithfully coming to teach the word of God for two services which consist of about 100 men strengthening their soul and helping then witness to others. They distribute Christian literature and Bibles Study material for the men to grow in the word of God. I see through their sacrifice in love what true commitment and discipleship is all about.

Don’t forget about those who are in custody because they have lived a very traumatic life. They need to hear about the love of God.
