Tortured in Libya!

Tortured in Libya!

What it means to follow Christ in Libya?
Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also. Hebrews 13:3.

Libya has remained unstable and chaotic since the overthrow of its dictator in 2011.Three opposing governments via for control, and the conflicts have severely damaged the country’s infrastructure and made the gospel work extremely dangerous. Many missionaries and believers have been killed in recent years. The extremist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood and the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISSI), operate throughout the country.

The major religion in Libya is 97% of Libyans are Sunni Muslims. 2% are Christian.
Life is very difficult and the difficulties are compounded for Christians and especially Christian converts from Islam. There are very few believers in Libya, and it is extremely difficult for them to practice their faith openly. Christians are rejected by their Muslim families and friends. They are beaten, lose families and jobs, and sometimes are killed. It is unknown how many Christians are imprisoned in Libya.

Access to Bibles is severely restricted; they are brought into the country with extreme difficulty and risk even death for the mere possession of owning a bible. Please pray for them earnestly as if you had a loved one trying to survive under these dire circumstances.

Over the years, my wife and I have supported this organization. We are asking you to pray for persecuted Christians in Afghanistan and your economic support to:
