Believe, Speak and Act!
Introduction.
Faith is an action. Faith is Now! Faith says, I receive the answer right now. I know I have it is not hope that they get the job done it is believing that it’s done. People have said to me I believe that someday I will have my healing, that’s not faith it’s hope because it is looking to something indefinite, the future time. Faith says I have received my healing now in a modern translation of the New Testament says in Hebrews 11:1 “faith is giving substance to things hope for.” Faith is now Hope is the future. If you need healing, you don’t want it in the future you want right now especially if you’re in pain. If you’re seeking the baptism in the Holy Spirit you want to receive Him now not sometime in the future. If you need salvation you cannot put it off to the future that might be too late you need it now.
Believe, Speak, Act
This is an example of a women who suffered many years with her illness. Her faith made her whole. Not the faith of Jesus or the apostles. It was her faith that made her believe in the message of Jesus. Speak the word of faith and then she acted on what she said.
A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she said, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
“You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’”
But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Mark 5:25-34 (KJV)
Word of God
The Lord God confirms His word with signs and wonders.
As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. Matthew 10: 7-8 (KJV)
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27 (KJV).
Obstacles to Growing in Faith.
We are to walk by faith not by our five senses. Our carnal mind (five senses) will always resist God. Satan uses our five senses to confuse and deceive us from following and holding on to God’s word.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh (controlled by our five senses), but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded (controlled by our five senses) is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. Rom. 8:5-7 (KJV)

Work to Rest!
The work comes from us resting in the word of God. The enemy will hit you time and again to frustrate and confuse you regarding the written Word spoken by God.
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. Hebrews 4:11 (KJV)
• How do we Work to enter into Rest (peace of God)? By believing and resting in His Word. Rejecting all that is false. Renew our speech, Walk according to the Law of Love & Obedience. Rom. 12:1-2. (KJV)
How you THINK, will determine how you will SPEAK. And how you speak will determine how you will LIVE.
