Double Minded!

Double Minded!
Introduction.

There are teachers that can teach from their limited experience and there are teachers that are called and anointed to teach the Word of God.
Faith begins when the will of God in known. To know the will of God you must know the Word of God. Whatever you need from God you must find the promise in the Word of God. Once you find it you believe in your heart and confess it. This is the key to victory.

Scripture to be Examined
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom. 12: 1-2.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith (the heart), with no doubting (the mind), for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:5-8. (KJV)
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 1:5-8. (NLT)

God’s Will
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17 (KJV)
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. James 1:17. (NLT)
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:11 (KJV)
So, if you sinful people (hard-hearted, stubborn) know how to give good gifts to your children, won’t your Father in heaven even more certainly give good gifts to those who ask him for them) how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him. Matthew 7:11 (NLT)

What is Faith?
Faith is always in the present. Hope is in the future.
Now faith is the assurance or the confirmation of things we hope, it is the guarantee and the evidence of things not seen. It is the conviction of their reality- faith comprehends as a fact what cannot be experienced by physical senses. You can doubt in your head and believe with your heart! Hebrews 11:1

Hebrews 11: 6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Remember faith is that means it is in the present. That means you have believed that you have received what you had hoped for so therefore you thank God that it is done. The devil will fight you; he will put negative thoughts in your mind, and they will die unborn if you do not confess them. Confess and thank God for the answer to your request.
Fight the good fight of faith. Be strong in the Lord and the power of his word. Resist the enemy and all the thoughts that come to your mind. He would try to negate the blessing that God has promised to you.
Our Faith is measured by what you are speaking! If we confess weakness, disease, and poverty than we will have what we say. If we confess that we are more than able, victorious, and walking in health and prosperity than we will have (eventually) what we are confessing.
Speaking the Word of God continually will eventually get it into your heart. Your head will resist but keep speaking the Word!

Listening, Speaking, and Doing
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Hebrews 10:36, NIV
Let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23
And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Rev. 12:11
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark 11: 22-25
