A. Delivered from this present evil age (Gal. 1:4)
1. We don’t get it all in this age

B. Deliverance from the law (Gal. 2:19)
1. Our old man was crucified
2. Righteousness not received by keeping rules
3. If you are led by the Holy Spirit you are sons of God (Rom. 8:14; Gal. 5:18;
Rom. 6:14)
4. Map or guide?
C. Deliverance from self (Gal. 2:20)—death of:
1. Personal ambition
2. Denominational rivalry
3. Nationalism
D. Deliverance from the flesh (Gal. 5:24)
1. Flesh = the nature inherited from Adam = rebellion
a. Just one remedy: execution
b. Execution carried out in the death of Jesus on the cross
2. Crucifixion causes suffering to the flesh
3. To suffer the Lord’s way or the devil’s way?
4. Jesus is returning for those who have crucified their flesh
E. Deliverance from the world (Gal. 6:14)
1. The world = those who refuse the just rule of Jesus Christ in their lives.
2. The world is crucified to me and I to the world.
