A. Consider the work of Jesus, a perfect work—perfect in every respect, perfect in
every aspect
B. Contrast priests of Old Testament with Jesus the high priest of the New Testament
(Heb. 10:11)
1. The priests of the Old Testament always stood, never sat down—task never
finished
2. Jesus—after one sacrifice—sat down at the right hand of the Father—it is
finished
3. For those who are being sanctified (1 Thess. 5:23)
4. Jesus sanctified by the Father (John 10:36; 17:19)
But He also sanctified (set apart) Himself
